19th Annual Adelante Mujer Latina Career Conference
Are you interested in nursing, TV journalism, law enforcement, engineering, or business? These are some of the workshops which will be available to you, if you attend the 19th Annual Adelante Mujer Latina Career Conference on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Arleta High School. The theme for the day is "Latinas confronting the 21st Century." Free breakfast and lunch will be served. College admissions information will be available and transporation will be provided. On January 30th, LAUSD released the 2010-2011 School Accountability Report Card (SARC). The purpose of the SARC is to provide parents and the community with important information about each public school and for a school to report on its progress in achieving goals.
The majority of the 2010-2011 SARC reports data for the 2010-11 year. However, the school contact information, facility conditions, teacher misassignments, availability of textbooks and instructional materials and the Federal Intervention Program sections report 2011-12 data.

Follow the remaining instruction to complete and submit your child’s meal application
Parents and guardians can submit a meal application online starting July 1, 2011. The application will be processed within 24 hours, and you will not have to fill out a paper application and mail it or hand it over to the Food services Manager at your child’s school.

Safe School Plan Reminder
Daily Random Metal Detector Searches are held at Panorama High School in compliance with Education Code 35160. The purpose of the program is to deter the bringing of weapons onto school grounds. Signs are posted in front of the school advising all persons on the premises that they are subject to search for weapons by a metal detector.
