The Panorama High School High Ability and Gifted STEAM Magnet is a success because it benefits the surrounding neighborhoods and communities by allowing students access to a nearby, academic curriculum that will bring excellent educational opportunities to an economically disadvantaged area of our school district. Our school attracts high achieving students and identified gifted students that are either commuting to a school outside of the community or allow them the opportunity to continue their education in a positive, rewarding atmosphere that continuously challenges them to excel. The impact of the school will not be limited solely to its attendees. Our magnet benefits the community and serve as a point of pride within the city. Moreover, the community’s support of the school will foster a sense of civic pride in our high school population, ensuring development of a class students empowered as leaders that serve as agents of change.
