Social Justice and Leadership (SJL) Magnet

A Social Justice Leadership education affords Panorama students the opportunity to engage in an authentic examination of the world. It will raise our students’ awareness of local and global human rights and social equity issues. Viewing their own community and the world through a social justice lens causes Panorama students to make real-world connections and apply critical thinking skills when seeking equitable solutions. Students learn to differentiate between fact and opinion when seeking truth, examine different perspectives to view an issue from all sides, and develop a personal perspective based on accurate comprehension. Ultimately, Panorama students evolve into social advocates and active citizens that invoke change and right wrongs in their community and globally.
